So I finally got some oil pastels and a few brushes along with some oil haha! I can finally do some oil painting with them and I'm definitely happy, although I've gotta teach myself how to use everything still. Any tips would be nice :] Here I go!

Next Tuesday I start school again, and I'm gonna get busy trying to start up a club woot woot. I dunno if I can fit some time to draw. D: I wanna do a drawing under Illustrator and bring it up into Photoshop to show you guys I can make stuff too like like like this one drawing I did... forget it. D:

Oh well, I'll have time to crap around in Animation class also! BWAHAHAHA, also I'm going to start posting short comics on my tumblr(because it's completely empty and it's supposed to be an art blog) not very often, but I will. :]

This is a small list of anime and manga I watch or read, just posted it here out of free time and for anyone to check out. I'm currently reading Usagi Drop, The World God Only Knows, and Good Ending, just waiting for more Usagi Drop episodes haha. Can't wait for The World God Only Knows III and hopefully a third season for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya either. If you ever watch the Endless Eight Arc in "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya," I recommend you watch the first two then skip to the last episode, headache warning here dood. The Movie "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" hands down was the best anime movie I've seen so far.  As for dry anime, Bakuman/Good Ending/Kimi no Todoke get a little boring because of how long it is, but they're still okay.

I've finally found another anime that caught my eye besides The World God Only Knows(WAITING TOO MUCH, DYING FOR MOAR HAQUA), Good Ending(Really good manga), The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya(Movie for it was the 100% the best, Kyon man, Kyon), Kimi no Todoke(I know this is an anime mainly for girls, but I gotta say it's a pretty good highschool drama), Bakuman(NO NOT BAKUMON! There's a difference!) and many others.

Its a manga that has been around for a bit and just got its own anime series going AND is making a live action movie of it. It's called Usagi Drop, it's about---- better yet, check it out on wikipedia, it'll come up as Bunny Drop. I've been dying for a pretty interesting manga and this works. I feel like I'll be like Daikichi when I grow up, minus Rin and the smoking habits LOL. Story is cute and pretty original from my point of view, definitely in the top anime to recommend if you're not an action/fighting type otaku.

So, like I said before in my earlier Journal post, I have spare time, but not as much as I wished for this summer. =_= Basically I get the night(7-8 til whenever I sleep) for free time, as much time I have there I actually am spending it studying Hiragana, Katakana, and soon Kanji(oh god) for an upcoming Japanese Club for next schoolyear otherwise I'd be doing something fun like catching up with my anime/mangas that I've begun to neglect or just be IM'ing/Texting friends(which surprising made me realize I can't multitask). D: This is basically because my dad has me working for him from when I wake up to when I'm free, and I'm usually tired by then. Presently in my art, I'm developing a style that fits me as I'm really uncontent with my full body drawings. I haven't posted my tons of them because I like clean work with Illustrator and most of them have heavy lines, so picky. Haha. Hopefully I can catch on my sister, hooded-unknown's awesome eye, chibi, and photoshop skills.
